Tomorrow...

Tomorrow will be a wonderful day! Not ONLY is tomorrow the start of the countdown for "30 days until NH", Left 4 Dead 2 comes out! I'm excited!!!

New Hampshire Trip:

I cannot wait to see everyone from LCC, I just cannot. It will be such a wonderful day that I may in fact cry. I miss you all so much! The things we have planned will be such a blast!

Left 4 Dead 2:

Oh snap. Tomorrow I only have one class and the rest of the day will be spent playing through all the different modes and campaigns of the game. It will be one of the greatest zombie festivities ever.

A wonderful poem.

A WOMAN'S QUESTION

Do you know you have asked for the costliest thing
Ever made by the hand above?
A woman's heart, and a woman's life--
And a woman's wonderful love.

Do you know you have asked for this priceless thing
As a child might ask for a toy?
Demanding what others have died to win
With the reckless dash of a boy.

You have written my lesson of duty out,
Manlike, you have questioned me.
Now stand at the bars of my woman's soul
Until I shall question thee.

You require your mutton shall always be hot,
Your socks and your shirt be whole;
I require your heart be as true as God's stars
And as pure as His heaven your soul.

You require a cook for your mutton and beef,
I require a far greater thing;
A seamstress you're wanting for socks and shirts---
I look for a man and a king.

A king for the beautiful realm called Home,
And a man that his Maker, God,
Shall look upon as he did on the first
And say: "It is very good."

I am fair and young, but the rose may fade
From this soft young cheeck one day;
Will you love me then, 'mid the falling leaves
As you did 'mong the blossoms of May?

Is your heart an ocean so strong and true,
I may launch my all on its tide?
A loving woman finds heaven or hell
On the day she is made a bride.

I require all things that are grand and true,
All things that a man should be;
If you give this all, I would stake my life
To be all you demand of me.

If you cannot be this, a laundress and cook
You can hire and little to pay;
But a woman's heart and a woman's life
Are not to be won that way.

Lena Lathrop

I pray God that You would craft me into the man described in this poem, for You are great and mighty, full of mercy and grace.

Patriarch, you annoying freak.

Oh Patriarch,
How I long for your death,
To see your blood spilt upon the floor,
To see your limbs flying through the air as I dance around your miserable form.

Oh Patriarch!
How I wish you were dead,
Yet here you stand,
Over my lifeless corpse and my friends dismembered body.

Oh Patriarch!!
How I dream of you being blown into pieces,
How I dream of you being utterly destroyed!
Yet you continue to heal and be victorious,
You, Oh Patriarch, are going to die this weekend.

Class mates and their stupidity.

So I like listening in on people talk, and watch them during class sometimes. I've seen and heard quite a few things.

I once heard my French class mates discuss their party, and how they're going to have lots and lots of weed. Makes me want to bust them right there in class.

One time the guy across from me spoke up during class a little too loud, everyone heard him say how the night before he was driving drunk down the highway. Idiot.

I've also seen almost everyone use their cell phone during class, something my French teacher is livid against and will kick people out for doing so. I've also seen people on Face Book chatting to people during a lecture in the lab, the same people who always complain that they don't understand what the teacher is saying. Why are people so ignorant?

Chem Lab Quiz tomorrow, I'll be studying all day.
